Saurav Ganguly has been the most successful captain in Indin Cricket. It is too early to compare Rahul Dravid with Saurav Ganguly as matches played under his captaincy are much less as compared to the matches played under the Captaincy of
Saurav Ganguly.

i think they are both good, but they are very different in their approach. saurav is more of an attacking captain, while dravid is more defensive and can at times lose control of the game very quickly.
personally, i feel that no matter who the captain, it is the whole team's effort and performance that ultimately wins the game, that's the reason it's a team game. i am happy as long as india wins, but if i was asked to choose between the two, it would be very difficult, they are both my favourites!
P.S. I think the coach is the person who is spoiling the team, so i think this question needs re-phrasing as follows: "Who is a better coach..... John Wright or Greg Chappell?" The answer would unanimously be in favour of Wright!

saurav is a good caption . but rahul should be the caption because if saurav will be caption then all the pressure of the team
will be on saurav and therefore he could not bat with confidence

Saurav has a good record.Mostly in India.But it was not due to his captaincy.He encouraged some young players.
Rahul is better but unlucky.He also lacks strategy.
