I drive an audi 94 cs 100 and am having a waterpump installed along with the timing belt and thermostat. The waterpump itself is about 150 for the parts. is paying 550$ total a good deal or bad deal in your opinion.??

I do not think that this is a bad price if the work is warrantied. The water pump is one thing but should the car jump time for an improperly installed timming belt is another. If the work is warrantied then I think it is a could price.

That doesn't sound excessive. It is on the high side, but the water pump is a bear to get to on that model. The timing belt may as well be a challenge. I'd say, pay and be happy that you didn't skin your knuckles doing it.

well the best deal would be if its a freebie lol.. but my uncle had one of those cars and he had the same job done for about same amount 600$CAD The labour on the car thats what kills you so hard to work on.......so over all the deal is decent you are not getting ripped off but yet you are not saving any money either...
