Photoshop free trial?

i have downloaded the free trial, but how do i use it, i need to make Lightsaber effects,

same question as before only i want to know how to make lightsaber effects for a poster (a still picture not a movie)

Search for a tutorial that explains how to add a stroke to an object, and how to edit the stroke. You isolate the object and put it on a new layer.You apply the stroke using a gradient and alter the colour and opacity, its very effective. The object looks like its surrounded by a glow.
