Example:
Day 1

Hike down from White House Ruins overlook to base camp and set up tents and camp

Day 2

1/2 hike to Bad Canyon to see pictographs and ruins.

Day 3

Day hike up Yei trail across Mesa and down x trail. Visit family birth hogan on top and learn about many native plants.

Day 4

1/2 day in camp to relax, 1/2 day trip to Canyon del Muerto. Special evening entertainment.

Day 5

Day hike to Window Rock and Spider Rock

Day 6

Pack up and walk out past White House Ruins or up Female Trail

An itinerary is your travel plans. If your are going on a trip, you usually have an itinerary. e.g. On Monday, I'll be in Calcutta, on Tuesday, Singapore, etc. The itinerary may be very detailed with information about hotel reservations, flights, etc., or very general with only your best guess of where you will be.

Itinerary is a plan, usually involving travel, which one expects to follow. Eg. My vacation travel route includes stops throughout Europe,though I may add Africa to my itinerary.

it is the description of your trip schedule. It includes, by order of date and time, the transportation and accommodation you plan. it tell you flight / train / ship number, where from and to, date and time, seat selection, type of flight, hotel place and reservation code, etc...
