NURTURE.

A combination. For example you may be naturally an analytical and deep person due to the way in which your brain works, even thought those around you prefer to talk about Coronation Street. (Nature) However, if you are from a family with strong moral values, its likely that you will also develop these-even though it is not necessarily human nature to behave that way- but you do as you are constantly exposed to the behaviour (Social Learning Theory). The SLT illustrates the nurture argument. People learn my mimicking others-especially if the mimicked behaviour is seen to be rewarded in some way. e.g your brother tidies his room and is given sweets as a reward by his Mum and Dad. So you decide to copy his behaviour. (nurture). However you may be a lot more competitive than him at sports, even though you are both encouraged equally by your parents (nature). Nature and nurture examples are to be found everywhere as every observable human behaviour is the result of one or the other. Individuality is therefore a results of both nature AND nurture. Fascinating stuff huh!! xxx

Everything about human personality is a mix. Some scientists say we're about 80% nature, 20% nurture after studying twins raised separately

INDIVIDUALITY is one of the broader sense of thinking about only & only ownself !!!! one saying is that >>>> nature can be changed of a human in the due course of time but the individuality can't be changed easily....
The same thing of nurturing ownself is to the individuality.... both are reversible >>>>>>>>
manure>>>>> marigold flowering
the above is one of the reversible>>>>>>>>>

Beware! Our surroundings also engender biological transformations in the mind, not only psychological. So nature/nurture is not similar to body/mind!!

A personal identity consists of a multitude of processes which enact on different levels, back and forth between the 'genetic blueprint' and the actual living conditions. (Talking in percentages means you don't understand this crucial fact.)

Individuality is a complex combination of things. There is your genetic inheritance, then there is the environment you develop in, then there are the choices you make, the people you meet, even the air you breath. To be an individual we need to grow in our own soil.

nature. children are spoiled and closed off from the real world a little to much these days. and alot of parents believe sheltering their child will prevent them from being hurt mentally and physically. we all learn we get hurt regardless of how we are raised but i believe a sheltered child is never ready to get punished by the real world and it only affects them in a very traumatic way.
