I know you don't want to hear this BUT, depending on how old you are. You need to be talking to your Mother about sex. Do you have a good relationship? I think not as you are on yahoo trying to get an answer that is totally wrong for you. Talk to your physician or a free clinic. Please, not every answer you get here is the correct one. Please, think about this some more before you act. Are you on birth control? BE CAREFUL AND THINK!

As with most of the other people that have answered your question, you really need to think about what you are doing first. The bleeding part should be one of your least concerns. If you are young, you should really try to wait, I know that's not always the easiest or funnest thing to do. But especially if you aren't married, it's hard to garauntee your boyfriend will be with you forever, and later on down the road you will regret not waiting.

Trust me...I know from experience. I waited until I was 18-19 years old before I had sex or anything for that matter. I met the guy in college, and I told him no for the longest time, like 8 months to a year, and then we eventually had sex. I'm engaged to him now, and I will be marrying him in four months. (Thank goodness.) I believe you should wait until you are married, but when it came down to it I wasn't as strong as I thought I would be about it. But I still feel horrible about it to this day...even though I am marrying him.

Really, it's all about the person you are. If you should choose to have sex with him, please be carefull!!! Make sure you have a plan if you get pregnant. I know lots and lots of people who have gotten pregnant while on birth control and when using condoms. So they don't always work. The bleeding shouldn't be bad. I don't think I had much, if any. But like the other person said, you may want to put a towel or something down, so it doesn't mess up your sheets. Just think about it first? Good luck!

The bleeding and pain is caused by your hymen being ruptured. Have you ever heard someone say anything about a females "cherry"? I know it sounds silly, but that is a common name for a woman's hymen.
It's a layer of "skin" that is present in the vagina, located before the opening to the uterus. It's there from the day you are born and stays until it is ruptured. It can rupture from, obviously sex, but also from horseback riding or a nasty fall.
You shouldn't have to discontinue sex unless it becomes too painful for you. The bleeding will occur pretty much from the time sexual intercourse takes place. There usually isn't that much blood but enough to notice and it does hurt, so don't go too fast, and tell him to be careful with you.
Tell your boyfriend to take it very easy with you that first time, use lots of lubricant and just take your time.
It's good that you guys have talked a lot about it and not just gone ahead and "did it"..just make sure you use birth control also.

Bleeding a little the first time is normal if you hymen is till intact. You do not need to stop just because your hymen gets broken as this is normal. The main thing is to be sure you are ready for this. Use protection and have a plan in mind as to what you will do if an accidental pregnancy should occur. If you are not ready to deal with the possibility of an accidental pregnancy then you should not have sex. Otherwise relax, use lots of foreplay and take it slow.

Bleeding is normal for the first time, although not all women do. It is fine to continue having sex, as long as you are comfortable with it. You may want to put a towel or something down on the bed before sex, if you don't want to ruin your sheets.

It will just be like some spotting. Don't worry about it. The things you should be worried about are protecting yourself from pregnancy and making sure its the right time. If you haven't been with your boyfriend a long time, you may be sorry later on that you made the decision. Make sure he's going to be staying around. I suggest if you've been with him under 6 months, especially if you are a teen or in your early that you wait.

Sound like u are too young.
What you should be concerned about is preventing STDs and an unwanted pregnancy.

The bleeding you are referring to is when your hymen breaks-a lot of virgins have already have broken hymens often they don't realize that it broke due to non-sexual activity-such as sports, horseback riding. This does not mean you are not a virgin.

you shouldnt bleed a whole lot. be sure u r ready to have sex before you do it, you can never have youre virginity back. if you bleed ALOT then stop. good luck and i hope you make the best decision. if you love him and you feel completely ready, after the first time or two it'll be great!! also use protection and birth control.

well first of all this is something that you should do with your husband and not some dude that will leave you for some other chick
ask your mother and I'm sure that she will give you the same kind of advice that's if she loves you.
and I'm sure that she does.
that's something special and you should not give it to just another guy save the most important thing for your man i mean your husband just think about it ? you know that I'm right
