A dog's not the same as a kid, silly.
A dog will love you until the day it dies or you put it to sleep, usually about 10-15 years or so.....
A kid will never forgive you for grounding him or her when he was 13....and, unfortunately, you can't put them to sleep when they're 15 years old.

I'm sorry but life begins at conception. Last I checked murder was against the law. Abortion is no different than murdering anyone else.
I think there are plenty of organizations set up in an attempt to protect children. The government has Child Protective Services. There are plenty of agencies out there to assist in the adoption of children. And the waiting list for those who want to adopt is generally pretty large. There are private organizations that are setup to assist abused women and children.
One of the biggest problems I see with adoption is that it tends to be cost prohibitive for many people. It is a very expensive process, often costing thousands of dollars for everything you have to go through. The waiting periods are often enormous. You can get a good dog for $100. Not that this is an excuse, but it does tend to prevent some people from going through the process.

First off dont call us anti-abortionist unless you are willing to be called anti-baby, or anti birth. Next off, this is not a "single" or "shallow" issue, unless you think that being pro-holocaust or anti-holocaust is not important.
If you had not been living in a bottle or wherever you have been the past forty years, you would know that the pro-life people have set up shelters and adoption networks for single moms. This is in addition to a lot of support for the moms who choose to keep their children. You may have not heard about it because the radically pro-abortion media has more or less blacked out the alternatives to abortion. See below for something the mainstream does not want you to see.
If this is a real question you have posted here and not just a shabby excuse to rant on about something you dont want to think about, you will check them out.

I am ainst abortion, But i haven't adopted a pet. I see your point but "a check point for unwanted babies", this is a little harsh. This is why we have Adoption Agencies and Sanctity of Life Clinics

In addition, People adopte children from over seas more than they adopt children here in the U.S. Simply because people want a specific child. They want them to be white, or asian and neglect the other older children here in the U.S. that are stuck in our foster care system.

Your analogy is ridiculous.
As far as unwanted children has any body heard of the concepts of abstinence or birth control, or self requested sterilization.
I will never understand women who murder their own children then come up with all these ridiculous justifications for doing so.
Shame the devil and tell the truth, you murder them because they're an inconvenience in your hedonistic life.
