Because I've found if you do treat them equally they don't usually like it.

Equality is requested by the underdog to become level with its master, but once it gets equality it will start to establish its dominance (eg women) But if everyone is treated equally, someone will quickly take control and reap all the benefits. There is no such thing as equality, everything comes down to power.

Money or Fame is the the only equalizer in America these days....We're still a "Some are more equal than others" and " Equality is special treatment." culture.

I request equality, and if you treat everyone in the world (including me) horribly, than I wouldn't care.

No it means they want the same respect ,services and acknowledgement as every one who already gets these things.
