We used to put wax on the blades. But that was a loooooooong time ago. I live in California now - and I don't even know if sleds have blades these days.

Another way to make it go faster is to put more weight on it. That's science - and that hasn't changed.

the more weight, the faster it will go! Also, that weight has to be balanced through out the sled!

lean forward, and put water on the bottom, it'll turn to ice and make u go lots faster

You could mount rockets on it. A few hundred pounds of thrust should get you going pretty fast.
