Subtract 2x from each side...You now have:

3 + x = 9

Now, subract 3 from from both sides, leaving you with:

X = 6

Plug back in to confirm:

3 + 3(6) = 9 + 2(6)

3 + 18 = 9 + 12

21 = 21

Therefore, X = 6 checks out...

3+3x - 2x = 9+2x - 2x -> x+3 = 9 -> x+3 -3 = 9-3 ->x=6

3 + 3x = 9 + 2x

3x - 2x = 9 - 3

x = 6

Check :
LHS = 3 + 3 x 6 = 21
RHS = 9 + 2 x 6 = 21

Solution is therefore correct

subtract both sides by 3 and by 2x so you now have
3 - 3 + 3x - 2x = 9 - 3 +2x - 2x
next you simplify and get
x = 6

then check
3 + 3(6) = 9 + 2(6)
3 + 18 = 9 + 12
21 = 21
so you know that is the answer

3x = 30 + x
2x = 20+x

3+3x = 9+2x
3+30+x = 9 + 20 + x
but you see 29 not equal 33
you can not solve thiz problem

3 + 3x = 9 + 2x

subtract three from 9 you then get

3x = 6 + 2x

you then subtract 2x from 3x and get 1x

x = 6
