I've got implanon fitted....how likely is it 2 get pregnant and do you know anyone who has?

It's meant to be about 99% effective...I've had mine for about 5 months now & have heard stories from friends about people who have become pregnant on it but I've never actually met anyone myself. I would go and see your doctor if you're concerned but in the meantime, it wouldn't hurt to double up & use a condom!

I have an implanon at present and i have not become pregnant so it worked for me thats my 3 yrs up in march so im gona try an ius instead but implanon is over 99% effective so the likelyhood of falling pregnant with one is less than 1 in every 100 women you will struggle to find better odds other than abstance hope this helps xx

Very unlikely but it does happen. Implanon is very new to the US so good like finding others who have used it.

May be 99%, the Doctor should has a better answer.
