Nature is doing its job perfectly round the clock for aeons of time without expecting anything from anybody.
E.g. Solar system consisting of the Sun,the Mercury, the Venus, the Earth, the Mars, the Jupiter, the Saturn, the Uranus and the Neptune.
Even if we want to get some fruit , we sow a seed or plant a seedling ,allow it to grow into a tree before we expect any fruit from the tree.
But, we expect all problems facing humanity to disappear overnight with out any proper planning or execution .
If we want our next generation should not suffer due to problems of scarcity of food ,clothing ,shelter, water, power , transportation and communication facilities etc , we must plan and implement schemes now itself in our own generation .
Plant and animal kingdom involves the physical component (physical body for animals or physical structure for plants and trees) and a component represented by a number of senses according to their position in the stages of evolution.
In the case of human beings , the essential visible and invisible components are the body and the mind. We need to tutor young minds with the knowledge of truth , love ,compassion and kindness to fellow beings. Then after a decade or two the young minds are well prepared to follow the paths of truth and love and all the problems that exist today will disappear once fusion of minds takes place ,for common good of the society.
If people become true to themselves, they accept others as they are ,all problems will disappear.

Happiness is a state of mind which can not be acquired from outside. One has to find happiness within himself. One may appear to be happy for a short period when his/her immediate desire is fulfilled, but it is not a long lasting state. Therefore, if you can guide people in the ways attainig happiness by looking inwards, go ahead. You will be doing a great service to the mankind

Our purpose is to love God and to love our neighbor.
Our way to help others find fulfillment (the source of joy or happiness-not really the same things) is to demonstrate the love of Jesus in all things. Joy prevails throughout all things while happiness is fleeting, often dependant on circumstances and less important than joy. Joy is related to our stance while happiness is often related to our circumstance.

It is as useless as we make it.
Go out and make it useful for someone.
Learn something new, do something good, mentor someone and feel happy about it.
