Hmm it depends on how mad she was and what you two fought about though. In some cases, giving buying her things just to make it up for what happened yesterday seems kind of a bribe. And you might get used to it which can be bad. On the other hand, if the quarrel or misunderstanding was not that much of a big deal, sure you can buy her simple things she likes like her favorite food, flower, or even cook dinner for tonight. When you do it, mean it and make sure it isn't just a bribe.

No, you still need to buy her something. Flowers, candy, jewelery or whatever you can afford. I can't make any guarantees, but she'll probably appreciate the gesture. It should help you get back on her good side & you may be rewarded for it, if you know what I mean.
