My dog hit my face and sent my tooth through my lower lip. The outer skin on both sides is completely healed over, but I can feel that the inside is still thicker. It feels like there's a little tube through my lip. It's been about a week and a half.

You may want to see the doc to be sure it is healing properly. All wounds take different amounts of time to heal so no one can say how long it will take for this to heal. It depends on how deep the wound was, what you are using on it to help it heal and other factors.

Depending on the depth and size of the wound. It might be due to tissue piling in your wound that caused the feeling. Wound will definitely heal in a few weeks time. As for the lump feeling, it might take a few months to a year to heal completely.

Avoid sea foods, shrimps, crabs, beef during this time.
It can shrink gradually smaller with time and by using baking soda or salt several times a day. To heal any outside scar like normal skin, applying tumeric powder with little drop of water for 1 week and keep it out of the sun. Sooner better.

That could be scar tissue you are feeling, if it is it will be that way forever.
