Descartes Formal and Objective Reality?

Question

Can anyone explain the difference between these two. I have read several explanations but end up more even more confused afterwards. I just need a simple explanation for distinguishing between the two, examples would be great!

See the link, mostly 1 through 3, especially the last part of 3. The idea of a hot thing has objective reality, and the actual hot thing has formal reality.
