I don't know what they are trying to do, but since she's not getting a Oscar why not be on the cover of SI

I was SO annoyed by this!! Beyonce's desperation to be in the public eye is almost sad. It's as if she is trying to say " yeah, Jennifer Hudson may have stolen Dreamgirls from me, but I'm still hot!" I've always liked the swimsuit issue because they used models or athletes, which is how it should be. Does this mean Jessica Beil or Scarlett Johannsson or some other starlet will be on the cover next year? It's happened with all the fashion magazines, afterall (when was the last time a model was on the cover of Vogue, Elle or Harper's Bazaar?). Jeez...Let the models have the modeling jobs! They are the best at it.

No, it's simply a way of advertising Beyonce's clothing brand "House of Dereon". She's got an absolutely amazing curvaceous body (wow, that butt!) and there's no reason why she shouldn't flaunt it. I like the trend of magazines publishing pictorials of actresses, singers etc. rather than so called "models" and "super models" who are in reality skinny stuck up spoiled brats that the general public can't relate to.
