We just got sick of the silly Hallmark holiday . . . so we decided not to celebrate it this year. Anyone else feel the same way? :)

Were not celebrating! It's a complete waste of money and truly is a Hallmark Holiday. We have choosen instead to start an exotic vacation fun....all of the "Hallmark Holiday's" that we would of celebrated we are choosing to put the cash (that would of been used on a gift(s)) in a savings account. While at home we also have a jar that we are putting places on where we would like to go and spend that money. In about 6 months we will break open the ideas and choose a place to vacation. Valentine's day is an excuse for people to spend absurd amounts of money when they can show there love all year around....but then again this is just our opinion!

YES! We know we love each other, why do we need some cheesy holiday to waste money on? We have the best time at home in our PJ's just hanging out.

all we are doing is going to lunch when the kid is in school, nothing special. i dont need a specific day to tell him i love him or buy him something. at least its sort of a real holiday, not like sweetest day
