Not a solitary thing and cannot remember when I ever received anything. Still no worries. At least I do not have to reciprocate by sending whoever something!!

A card from my other half, a card from my ten week old son (with some "help" from Daddy!), a plush cuddly valentine's dog and a huge bouquet was delivered to the door!
I felt terrible though because I've been ill with a stomach bug plus rushed off my feet with the baby and hadn't got my Other Half anything! I rang a local florist and asked them to deliver a "mans" bouquet to him at work plus just popped out and bought him some chocs and a card.

We've been married 12 years, which means we both got the same crap we always get, instead of what we wanted. I wanted to wake up to some red-hot monkey sex before work, and she wanted to wake up to a handsome rich guy handing her a box from Tiffany's. Instead, she'll get some overpriced flowers, a box of crappy chocolates and a sappy card, and I'll get some tacky valentines boxers, a box of crappy chocolates, and a sappy card, followed by some cookie-cutter, same-as-usual quick and passionless love-making, before going to sleep trying to convince ourselves how happy we are.

I got yummy chocolate! But that is not important! What is important is those who love you and those you love! Don't concentrate on gifts or see Valentines Day as getting, see it as giving the most wonderful gift of all= LOVE!

I'm at work so I really don't know what it is that my Valentine has in store for me but from my point of view you really didn't get anything special but it's nice if it came from a child
