I am sure it would! Keep in mind, find a card that will output in wide screen tho and make sure your system will fill the cards requirements!

Yes and no. Most new widescreen monitors use specific drivers also. I would try the manufacturers site first and check for the latest drivers for your monitor first before investing in a new video card.
