Blinded by the Light?

Ok I know there are different versions of the song, Springsteen and the other band (mind fart can't remember bands name) Does any body know what the meaning of the two songs? My friend told me Springsteen's version is about the Ford car, Deuce?! I dont' know! I love the song though. Why don't artists write songs like than ne more?!!!!

The other band you're looking for is Manfred Mann's Earth Band. I don't know about the lyrics in The Boss' version, but the original one is "Blinded by the light, revved up like deuce another runner in the night." I would guess that song is the most misunderstood as far as lyrics goes.
