my periods were never regular from the beginning. i was on birth control for 4 years and now i'm trying to conceive. i ended the pill at the very beginning of september, got my period on the 11th of that month then got my last period october 24th.

what are natural ways to help regulate? i heard about red raspberry leaf, but i'm looking for ways that aren't going to require medication or doctor visits.

i'm still trying to figure out if i haven't gotten it again because i'm just irregular or if my body is still getting used to not being on birth control.

i have irregular cycles due to PCOS. I take Vitex, a natural herb, to help regulate my cycles. It takes about 3 months to get you regular, and it also helps you to ovulate. Good luck!

I was and still am irregular. I have three kids and had no problem conceiving children. Why do you need to regulate your period? I'm sorry, but I have never needed to do that. And what's the OBGYN? Never heard of it. I hope you find a way, but I don't think there is a way without medical help. But naturally so, I had no problems on that account. Good luck.

I have the same situation as you. I was on the pill for 4 years. I last took the pill in October. I had spotting the first two months and only 1 regular period in January. It is very frustrating becasue you do not know if you are ovulating or maybe even pregnent, since you have missed your period. The amount of money I have spent on pregnancy tests, I should just go to the doctor :-) Good luck. If you find anything out, please let me know. Thanks

I wouldn't take anything either if I were you. Give yourself some time to get those hormones out of your system. Eat alot of raw veggies and drink lots of water to flush that away. I have mentioned this to alot of women, but get that book Taking charge of your fertility by Toni W. and learn how to start charting your cycle. Since you are irregular, charting your temps will help you determine when you are ovulating. Perfect to know when you are trying for that bundle of JOY. Good luck.

Most likely it is the BD pills effecting your regularity. Unfortunately I can't give you any herbal remedies to try, but I can tell you that a Dr. could prescribe provera to bring on your period then clomid to ensure ovulation. I know many women on this regimen who were in the same situation as you and went on to have healthy babies.
