I'd ask them if they also plan to demand the two straight people who are pawing and slobbering all over each other to stop.

No, I have just as much a right to be in a public place and do what I wish as much as they do. I wouldn't be making out in public like that but I do not owe anyone any apologies for any action that is perfectly legal. Two men kissing would NOT corrupt a child's mind unlike hate and discrimination taught by homophobes which do corrupt children. Hate is a learned issue and NOT a family value.

Any that would offer violence as a response would learn really quickly why Armed Gays Don't Get Bashed.

What is going to confuse the kid is the parent's behaviour, not that he/she can see two men kissing. Isn't it better to teach a child all about the world we live in, have an open conversation and explain the things as they are, rather than hide, lie, pretend, blindfold??? What sort of adult is going to grow up out of a child that was prevented from exploring the world and making up his/her own mind about it? And anyway, seeing two men kissing is seeing an affection and love, is that wrong? And what if the child sees two men fighting and hitting each other? You probably wouldn't think of covering their eyes, would you.

Well, I might get my hands out from under the other girl's clothes, but I would only stop kissing long enough to list off the a couple out of the hundreds of animals that have lesbian sex. Gotta at least do a little to combat the ignorant hate speech the children are going to hear when they get home.

A gay couple has the same right to public affection as a straight couple. You are the one whose mind is corrupted by hate and fear.

America has a warped view of sex. Why does sex/affection/etc. corrupt children? Why is it better for a child to see murder and destruction (ie in cinema/tv) than to see naked people, or expressions of love? One is something that virtually all humans experience, the other something they hope never to. One is a crime, one is not.

Seriously, this country needs to get over its freaking self.

I keep kissing and talk to the parents about corrupting their child's mind

Two people showing love and affection for each other would corrupt a child's mind in what way? Go peddle your prejudiced opinion some where else.

I would never try to stop it and corrupt the child's mind against gays. I would do the right thing and try to explain to the child how being gay isn't wrong. This kind of opportunity is the best chance to try to teach the child tolerance and what is right!

I don't believe in trying to push my morals on someone else, so they shouldn't push them on me!

Josh in your own small-minded way you've actually asked a half-decent question.

If I were kissing another man in a public place and someone asked me to stop - I would probably tell them to mind their own. Just like if I were kissing a woman in a public place.

If I were providing my partner (either gender) with a lingual tonsilectomy then I would probably stop. PDAs are fine (even for little kids) - it's just a matter of degree of intensity.

All I can say is thank goodness you didn't drop the "l" from public.

First off, it would depend on the kiss, if just a quick kiss that's one thing, tonsil hockey is another. Frankly speaking, any PDA that goes beyond a simple peck on the cheek or lips is inappropriate either from Gays or Straights. I find your question dishonest because you limit your scope to gays, so one must assume you are a gay hater, that's ok, at least we know what you are and thus can deal with you in the future.

I would not be in the situation that I would be asked to stop. When I kiss my husband of 16 years in public it is generally in greeting or in departing. A quick kiss that should not offend anyone. IF it did offend anyone I could care less because I know that I behave with decorum.
