I heard it on TV today......have you ever had your heart broken?
I have it really hurts too!

sometimes old couples die just a few months within each other and it is often believed to be due to extreme depression. I can imagine why though, I imagine having a wife, loving someone so much for so many decades going through everything together then watching her die. I might die of depression after that.

well emotional trauma as in the loss of someone can bring a person so down they neglect to care for them self and let their health go or turn to unhealthy things for comfort so I would say indirectly yes one can die of a broken heart

yes, it hurts. It is possible to die of a broken heart.
I have heard about a woman who was 75 years old and died, her husband of 50 years was so ovecome with grief, he died of a broken heart, they say, a month later. Perhaps, he starved himself?

Yes, ppl can die of everything !! i know ppl who died of extreme happiness, what would a broken heart do then??

yeah it really does hurt. i have never heard of anyone who has died of a broken heart in itself, but some have died because of suicide or because they starved themselves to death after a broken heart.

YOU CAN NOT PHYSICALLY DIE FROM A BROKEN HEART BUT THE ACTIONS YOU TAKE BECAUSE OF THE MENTAL PAIN CAN KILL YOU.

yes you can when my moms sister died my grandpa said he couldn't live another Holiday without her and he died of a broken heart 2 days b-4 Thansk giving! :*(

i believe a broken heart can push someone 2d limits... esp if no one's there 2 give moral & emotional support.. d more it gets tough!
