It would be nice if Wal-mart adopted a fair trade policy instead of exploiting workers to provide the lowest price.
So the headline would be "Wal-Mart adopts fair trade policy"

I love Wal-Mart. I can't afford to shop any where else. What I can't stand is if there is a high demand for something and it runs out on the shelf, they don't restock it right away so you are forced into buying the higher priced name brand or different size so they can clear the stock off the shelf. Good example is water. I live in a hurricane prone area and when the gallons of water are gone, they won't bring out more until all of the other water is gone, like 24 packs of small bottle, or the more expensive name brands. They also do this on busy week ends for other popular items. They will tell you it's out of stock. but it isn't.

I have a love/hate relationship with Wal-Mart, myself. I disagree that they always have the cheapest prices, but they do match prices on the groceries in the area.
I hate them because they have put so many small businesses out of business. I also hate them because they used to try to deal mainly with US made products, now everything is made in China.
If I could see any headline in the news, it would be..."Sam Walton Returns From The Grave To Put Things Right With Wal-Mart"

The Wallyworlds around here do offer competitive pay for their industry.
You cant hate a store where you can by your groceries, a TV, some DVDs, maybe some socks, all in the same stop. And while you can buy practically anything there, the fact is, its usually cheaper which is the benefit that draws people to Walmart in the first place.
Bottom line if you hate your job that much. go find another. you are not forced to work there.
And try not to buy all those things you didn't know you needed until you got there.

Walmart is like Kool-Aid and Cyanide....... the Kool-Aid is the low prices, the Cyanide is the low wages.
I love Walmart for the low prices, the stores are great, you can find everything you need in one stop.
What I hate is the fact that they pay slave wages and do not offer any health coverage, and keep people just below full time so they don't have to pay any benefits. But I can also understand that's how they keep the prices low. We are the ones who are making Walmart the biggest retailer in the world, by shopping there.
Headline I would like to see?
"Walmart cuts profits to give employees raises and health benefits"

we shopped at wally world all the time...then we moved and found a target...we did an experiment so to speak that took 2 weekends
first we shopped at walmart and bought 1 weeks worth of groceries...spent over $100
then we shopped at target and bought the same items as at walmart...spent $60
needless to say their "low prices" are not that low
