You become a qualified full fledged engineer equal to a degree holder BE. You can pass this exam by self study or private coaching. The head office of Institute of Engineers is in Calcutta and there are branches in all big cities. You can work and earn while doing this. But most people leave this course midway. If you persist, it is very useful.
