Is it unheard of for a married man with no kids to have a vasectomy? I hate kids and my wife doesn't want any so I am considering having one. Are there any good places that will just do this procedure no questions asked?

I got mine at 21 with no kids.

They asked if I had children, or if I had any problems ejaculating, or with erections. No other questions were asked.

I lied and told them I had a child. But they didn’t ask of any proof of any kind. They never asked his or her name, or age, or anything.

They never asked if my significant other approved, or even knew about it. They never asked if I was married.

My girlfriend has no children, but she had her tubes tied at 27.

If the clinic refuses to give you a vasectomy because you have no children, they are only doing so because they fear that you will change your mind and try to sue them. It has nothing to do with rules, laws, etc. Just go to a different clinic. It only took me three tries.

BTW: I paid cash. It was $250 back in 1989. Today it would cost a lot more, but your insurance will cover it.

No one is going to stop you in the first place. They will tell you the procedure and explain it in detail. Make damn sure you are not going to want kids in the future. Once it's done, reversing it may not always work. If you change your mind later, you may be asking a friend to plant the seed for you,

I have two kids, then had it done. I am, however, fascinated as to why you, and many other couples are so anti-children? I guess if you don't have the time, your making the right decision.

Any reputable doctor will do it for a reasonable price.

Happy clipping!

PS: No more raincoats or pills – a huge benefit!

Vasectomy and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

yes I know several men who have had vasectomies with no kids. I applaud you for not bringing an unwanted child into the world. I would check with several urologists and see what they say. My wife had to sign that she would allow me to get a vasectomy (strange if she wanted an abortion she could have one without even telling me)

Any surgeon in the field will do the proceduce for you. It is your choice. Plus if you change your mind down the road about having kids, i believe the sucess of having the operation reversed is in the 90% range.
