Population and population density are mostly to blame. With about 1 billion people and one of the most densely populated areas on earth, resources need to be thinly spread to cover just a few. This breeds many evils like corruption, discrimination based on sex, religion, caste etc., illiteracy, etc. India is said to be on the rise, but considering the size of its population and the enormity of the problems it faces, poverty will remain endemic, perhaps for as long as the human race lasts.

it is not like that, india is just 58 years old compare to other developed and developing nation for eg U.S is an independent nation from nearly 200 years and we just 50 or 60years old
then to we are 2nd fast developing nation after china and our GDP is more that America and 2nd in world
and my friend according to NewYork times suvery by 2020 india will be a developed nation and by 2050 india will be the 2nd powerfullnation living behind America on 3rd place
so be proud of your nation .

At the sight of industries,there is not full use or production of things,of which INDIA is main source.
At the sight of share market, the investors of INDIA are afraid today to invest ahuge money.

Indian economy is a developing one and not a developed one. Poverty and ignorance due to lack of education are prevalent. Unless we overcome these obstacles, Indian economy will always remain poor.

It goes back to the Richard Nixon Kitchen debate.Yes Russia might of had all the same things the States had.But you couldn't choose what you wanted.With less choices means less products,less products means less buyers,and that means less money.

If 100% of funds is there.All nations except INDIA uses 90% of funds for development and 10% of amount goes to packets of officers.In INDIA, 10% of funds used for development and 90% of
funds(money) goes to officer's packets.
(officers-MP,MLA,MRO,RI,ENGINEERS ETC)
