This is for my research paper in Communication Arts 2. The answers maybe explained by "imaginary- audience theory" and "personal fable" according to my other research.

It depends on the person, and the situation. It can range from a natural talent to family or peer pressure, to a need to be noticed, to a cry for help, or a form of escape, or a combination of these. It is difficult to categorize the attraction unless you know all of the facts. Good luck in your research. I would suggest you look into some art therapy books - They can be a really big help on this subjects. Go online and google "Art Therapy" Resources - You should see titles that can assist you.
