Very abstract question. Let us consider your question a little more closely. Corruption or Politicians? While I think a politician has the potential to a great amount of good, we rarely see this happen, whereas corruption can happen even without the involvement of politics. Do you think the whole Enron fiasco was political? No, but it certainly was corrupt. I'd have to say that corruption is worse. It's much more insidious. Corruption has no connection to politics except through the person doing the act. We describe a person as a corrupt politician or a politician that's corrupt but we also describe a corrupt businessman or a corrupt judge or cop So while politician my be a label of their job, corruption is their action.

Well...corruption comes from politicians. So get rid of the politicians, you can't have corruption, and you can't have politics :D. It's a two for one. So....POLITICIANS!

In corruption everything is worst.
Among politicians some are good.(eg. Shri.ManMohan Singh, Shri.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam)
So many are worst. We can not name them. The list is endless.

Politicians are motivated by one thing. Winning elections. Certain people think they have to appease people, instead of standing on core principles (See John McCain, Bill and Hillary Clinton).

I think both go hand in hand.
corruption is like oxygen to the politicians they cant stay without it.
If their daily supply of oxygen fails they wont move ahead to do the work.
To cut its roots we will have to remove such people from the administration.
They are the one who are making our country's image bad.
they are like parasites they live in this country and suck the blood of our own people.
