Goa is a good place for some great sunshine and beach activities.Mumbai too is ok...Jaipur is godgeous....down in the South,Hyderabad is also wonderful..and Kanyakumari is awesome for its sunset and sunrise...

Don't blame you!
However, monsoon lasts from June to September and it rains everywhere.
When you're tired of Goa head down to Kerala. After that, have a look at Bangalore, then head up to Delhi, Agra (for Taj Mahal), Rishikesh in Uttaranchal in the Himalayan foothills neighbouring Nepal.
India's a big place - enjoy!

Goa typically rains heavily during june-sept, if u can, try to come in Feb 3rd week as we have the carnival at Goa, it is just like the brazilian carnival . Check the dates on goatourism website.
Goa to bombay is about 8hrs drive.

well go to Goa in oct/nov, this is the tourist season ,by march/ april,, its time to depart,, head off into ooty. a hill station in kamartaka, lovely in the hot season, then take a plane or train to mumbai, and get a flight home, thats if you want to leave beautiful india
