Well I think about this almost everyday of my life. When I go outside and look up to the sky, I always wonder if there is some giant eye looking back down at me while I walk around in a little box on their countertop. Also if we are a study for some "alien" species..that Earth is just an experiment..and that the end of the Earth is when they will see how corrupted we are and they'll pronounce the experiment as "gone wrong", and they'll just destroy it all. We could be dreaming it all, just a very very long dream we're having while we are like locked up in some pod asleep somewhere else. I have many many theories but I wont waste your time on them. Lets just say I'm a "deep thinker" and always think past the logical. Very nice question though, gets a person thinking.

this is not a stupid question. many philosophers have pondered over the idea of life. religion tells us that we are created by a higher power and that we walk through the path chalked out by taht power. isnt that the finest example of human beings being controlled? whwnever somethings happen, people blame their fates. what is fate? it means our life has been pre ordained. even our deaths are predestined. so what use is man's free will of?we think ourselves to be the supreme creation of god, we who haev made our lives comfortable with all the modern amenities, to know that we are controlled by someone is really shocking. if a child controls us, imagine how it is going to be. we make atom bombs and nuclear weapons and claim to have made the tools for wiping out human race from thsi earth. we make progress in genetics so that death may not touch us one day. andd all the while the child who contols the strings laughs and say" stupid human beings"!!

I know what you are saying. I think about that all the time. If you think back far enough science said that there was a big bang and that is what created the universe. But what exploded? Why did it explode. what if the world is like a huge video game. So many questions!! Like is there another big universe somewere else. Space goes on forever. I know what you are saying and i totally agree and i hope we are not controlled by little kids. Or if it is a big dream! and the dream is controlling us. or what one day we all just dissapear. It is very weird when you think about. Don't worry it is not a stupid question.

What if means what it is now. It is not someones dream, but entire the world is controlled by a child ( you can call as child for that power). It is nothing but "PARAMATHAMA" we all a piece of paramatha i.e athama and came to earth due to vibration. In this universe every thing will vibrate. after our energy spent vibrating athama will join paramatham. It is the one controlloing the entire world. Effort is yours but not the result means result will controlled by paramatha it may be a child, superpower, god as you imagine.

It's not really a stupid question because, in a philosophical discussion, anything can be addressed. Many people have considered the same idea: Is life nothing more than illusion? What is real? What is not? Can our human senses tell us the truth? And when the dreamer wakes, will we all disappear?

If we and all that is around us are part of a dream then whoever is having this dream should go and see a phsyciatrist when they wake up...they definately have issues.
