I am. She's overrated. She's a black woman making a living by trying to look like and act like a white woman. To me it's very unattractive. White women and black women are very attractive in their own way. It becomes unattractive women people try to be someone they are not.

I agree. Unf., I also think her music is garbage. More unf., I also think she's very pretty. I say that's unfortunate because of just what you mentioned: "She's a black woman making a living by trying to look like and act like a white woman....White women and black women are very attractive in their own way."
She's one of the few really big (household name) black women to be seen as a sex symbol. And she also has crossover appeal. That is, she began as an R&B artist whose fans were mostly young and black; now everyone knows her name. On one hand, that's a good thing. On the other hand, would she be considered so pretty if she hadn't sported the trademark of white beauty, the blond hair? I've given this issue much thought and I'm still not sure if the net effect is a good one or bad.
Are we "getting our feet in the door" and slowly being accepted as just as attractive as White women, or must we still bow to White ideals and somehow change ourselves to be accepted (in other words not REALLY be accepted for who we are)?
It almost seems contrived in some way. Do you agree? Granted, her music is popular and many people find her attractive. But she gets soooo much press. Is she really THAT talented? It's almost as if the media is pushing her to MAKE her into a star when she might not have become one otherwise.
Again, I don't know if this is good or bad...Perhaps both.

I am sick of her she so arrogant an just a diva an not in a good way, she everywhere When lady gaga came out she had her own style and now you look at beyonce new video she totally took gaga style its like shes not got a mind of her own, when shakira had and beyonce did a song together she started doing the belly dancing stuff its like shes trying to keep her rivals close she so sneaky when kanye said beyonce should have won instead of swift, watch beyonce face she was smiling but trying to conceal the fact that she thought kanye was right cant stand arrogant fake nice people

I think Beyonce is a very beautiful young lady. She is successful and entertaining. But I am getting tired of her calling me all the time. I mean, I've already told her a dozen times that I'm married and have a daughter. But, she won't listen. She keeps calling me, telling me about her problems with Jay-Z and how she needs a man like me. Oh well....that's what I get for being such a stud. lol
Anyways...back to reality. She's pretty. Not everyone is attracted to her, nor should they be. I'll say that she WAS overrated and she's not as popular as she was a year or two ago. The new Beyonce is Rhianna.

Uh, no she's not.
You're just mad because she'll never be your girl.
She gorgeous and has a gorgeous strong voice.
She knows well how to entertain people. And most of all she's a sweet, smart, nice, warm hearted,and caring person which makes us like Beyonce even more.
She isn't overrated. She's worked very hard to get where she's at and she deserves every good thing she has right now. So, stop being jealous.

Yes, I am tired of her, too, my friend loves her, but she is over rated. She was ok for a while, but now I am not impressed. I wish she would just be herself, unless she is being herself. No offense to anyone. =)
