This kind of treatment isn't unusual and any complaints to "Superiors", will fall on deaf ears. I have been down that road and, this IS my Country. Shake it off and go about your business as usual. Funny...they take and pass a Civil Service Test, then get whizzed when they have to Serve the Civilians...don't you think?
I'll go out on a limb for you here........................................
If they can't apologize....I can...Sorry about the way you were treated. But, remember there are three sides to every story, yours, theirs, and the truth. I don't care to apologize to story spinners.

I hope you got the employee's name - that will help. You should send a letter to the manager of the post office and contact the main post office in your city. The manager there should recieve a copy as well.

Are you a minority? Then you should report her and ask her boss what will be done about it to make sure she doesn't do it again. If you are not minority, forget it. I worked for a state university once and my supervisor, a minority, made a racist comment to the whole staff and there was nothing we could do about it and not look like a bunch of whiners.

Call and ask to speak to the postmaster or postmistress of the post office where you had the incident. Explain what happened to you, which employee the incident was with, and tell them that you plan to follow up in writing. Express to them that you want something in wiritng in their file for behaving the way that they did.
Good luck!

The Post Office is a private business. It isn't run by the govt. As far as the rest, I don't know the whole story. Maybe she is just fed up with foreigners telling us how to do things. Who knows. I wouldn't sweat it. Blow it off. It is just words. If words hurt you then you really need to toughen up. I learned a long time ago to blow off what people say.

First off only one side of the story is being told here. Secondly if words hurt your feelings then you may need to seek psychiatric help. This racisim crap in general is going a little to far in my opinion. Best solution. Get over it!!!!

You can file a greivance with her supervisor, if that doesn't work, goto the local press about it. Government agencies tend to get things done in a hurry if the press is involved.

Grow up and just let it go. You wear you heart on your sleeve. Are you just another illegal who wants to take advantage of the system? Forget it the same as U.S. citizens would and go home.
