The name Mary Claire sounds like a nuns name, it sounds to old fashion.

Its a really nice name but Mary is very common.....if that was my name i wouldn't like the fact that alot of people have that name... but if Mary Claire is the first name then i would like it and plus it sounds very pretty!

I HATE the name Mary. It's too popular and it's old. I sorta kinda like Claire, but I wouldn't put those two names together.
Sorry!

It may not be unique to have a name called either Mary or Claire but when you combine the 2 together, it sounds great. But maybe you can try Marclaire too.

wouldn't prefer the name Mary Claire, it does sound like a nun's name, but it is the combination of 2 classic names, so in essence, you can't go wrong.

It's ok. Mary is a little old and boring (no offense). But remember a long first name like that will be shortened. She will probably be called Mary, or MC or something like that.
