After hearing about Karla Homolka having a baby, and enjoying life while her victems parents still suffer over the loss of their children, it makes me think that this criminals like her should be sterilized when convicted.

I feel so bad for Karla's baby, as you can be certain that child will not have an easy life. I question both the quality of upbringing that Karla can provide, as well as the torment that child will suffer from others as being the son of Karla. Do you think that kid will ever get a fair break in life?

Anyways, should sterilizing criminals who target children be passed into law? I certainly think so! If not, why not?

I think that criminals that target our children should first be sterilized in a most unsanitary fashion, then put in general population in prison for several months, and if still alive after that, they should be hung by their ankles and whipped by the parents of the children they harmed-and then if STILL alive, they should be hung by the neck so that their toes just barely touch the ground so that they die a slow and very painful death. This is just my personal opinion of course (good thing I'm not a judge, huh?)

Oh, yes. Especially sex offenders who target children. They should be castrated. I don't think female sex offenders are as common, but they should be sterilized too. Of course, there are exceptions, such as their relationship with the minor (if it is a 23 year old with a 16 year old and they're dating...), the situation and such, but overall, if they are released back into society, there should be some effort to inhibit their sick desires and prohibit them from procreating. I am comforted to know that even in a prison population, child molesters and child killers are considered the worst of the worst and treated as such. As far as anyone who kills a child, they should not be released from prison to begin with, they should be given the death penalty. If, by some chance, one of them does produce a child, that poor baby should be removed from their care immediately! On a side note, I think that anyone who kills another human being should be executed in the same fashion as they killed their victim. For Andrea Yates, she needs to be almost drowned 5 times and then drowned. Child abuse and animal abuse are VERY sore points with me.

yes sterilizing for women is a great idea men who prey on children should be tagged with a chip and castrated i know drastic measure but i'd do anything to keep kids safe , i also think the death penalty should be used more often in cases where parents kill their children instead of being coddled and getting a slap on the wrist ..and then being labled insane crazy or not the punishment should fit the crime

Not sterilized, but, euthanized. I have no sympathy for child abusers/murderers. They are a menace to society. Eliminate them. Then our children would be safer.

In America we have had child predators ask for government paid sterlization. They said no. Most research scientists say the predators will just use other means of abuse. They will use other instruments.of abuse. The desire to abuse is in their hearts and heads.

This would be a non-question if those LIEberals had not ruined our justice system. People like her / that, should never see the light of day, therefore it would be of no concern for anyone.

yes...something should be done....castrating or sterilizing won't fix the mental part though. maybe come up with a chip to implant or brain surgery to cut out the part of the brain that makes them mentally unstable...it's the mental issue. they are sick, sick, sick.

the decisions made earlier were wrong, and she should have been jailed for life without parole, just like her husband. however there is a child involved now , who is innocent , why punish the baby. Its too late now. we have to live with it.
