i use a great mop thats just damp with hot water and some bleach it leaves my clean and not dull or patchy,
its not damaging floor as i'm not soaking mop wringing out and wiping on then an old towel dries it up although it doesn't need it most of the time as not much water to dry up.

Laminate cleaners are available at Lowe's or similar store, but you can get the same results by using hot water and a little vinegar, or ammonia. Yeah, ammonia is fine and won't hurt a thing. On the other hand do NOT use any soaps, such as dish detergent, or wax since this will cause severe dullness. Swiffer and Swiffer Wet also work very well. The key is to avoid any standing water so wring mops thoroughly.

Funny I should find you question today. I cleaned my floors today. I use water and white vinegar. Cleaned and didn't leave a dulll finish like the cleaning stuff I used before that came with my flooring. Made just for laminate floors. I then used Pledge on it and it made it shine. My floor is prettier today than the first day I had it. I love it. The Pledge is made for laminate flooring and it is at Wal-Mart.

1 cup white vinegar
1 cup rubbing alcohol
1 cup water
3 drops of dishwashing liquid

mix in a spray bottle, shake, spray on floor, and spread with mop. no rinsing needed.

don't use ammonia, solvents, abrasives, general purpose cleaners, polishes, or waxes on laminate.
don't use a lot of water.

if the floor has scratches you might be able to buy a touch-up stick from the manufacturer.. if it gets severe damage, a professional installer might have to replace a plank or two.
