I'm in the command prompt and I want to know how to write the slash the other way.

THERE IS ANOTHER KEY ON BOARD THAT HAS THAT REVERSED. IT IS USUALLY UNDER THE BACKSPACE KEY AT TOP RIGHT.

It depends on your Keyboard Layout. You can look it up by going to "Start-->Programs-->Accessories (or Extras)-->Input help-->Screen Keyboard" (I'm using a German Windows. Your names on the Menus might be different, but I hope you get the idea. If you can't find it, klick Start-->Run... then Enter "%SystemRoot%\system32\osk.exe" and klick OK).
This brings up the Screen Keyboard. If you have an US-English 102-Key Keyboard the \ (Backslash) is next to the "z" Key in the lower left.
On a German Keyboard you press the right ALT Key with ß.

There's a key for it-- / and \ both are there on the keyboard very close to each other separated by the shift key below the enter key

that one feller coulda jest typed in keyboard and hit search desktop or better-- jest a moved his hand over a littlelike them other fellahs done. Say thar's anothah one on that thar # keypad deal-a-whichit way off to one side...if'n you hold a mirror up to it.

Better leave this up here a few more days though--jest be patient you'll find er

It's a different key. On my keyboard, it's just above the enter key, with a | above it.

Press the \ key. Its on the other side of the leyboard to the / key.
