Switch to the factory recommended viscosity engine oil in a full synthetic. Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Valvoline, Amsoil are outstanding brands. Increase tire pressure. I've used the following procedure: Jot down the factory suggested tire pressure posted inside the driver's door or door jam. Note the Maximum pressure on the tires. Add these two pressures and divide by two. This is a safe increased pressure. If you don't mind spending $20.00 take your car to a tire shop that offers compressed nitrogen as a replacement for our "dirty" air. Nitrogen is an inert gas that contains no water or elements which degrade the inside of the tire. Nitrogen molecules are much larger than compered air thus it doesn't leak as fast. It also does not react to hot and cold temps. The tires maintain a much more even tire pressure. You may think about buying a K&N air filter. The intake flow of air to the intake manifold will be increased.
