People tell me they are real and people tell me they aren't real which one is right?Please tell me yes or no and why.

Yes, I believe they're real. There will always be people who feel they are not real and those like me, who feel they are. You will never get a unanimous answer on this subject, I'm afraid.
I believe they're real because I've seen one. My husband saw it as well, so I know I was not dreaming. I also believe they're real because of all the other people who have seen them. There was even a picture taken of a ghost. By all accounts, it has not been tampered with nor was it an abnormality of the light or lens. I'm including a link to a page that has the picture. It's the second one down on the right, taken at Raynham Hall.
But don't take my opinion or anyone else's for it. Do your own research and draw your own conclusions. Whether there are ghosts or not, they are still intriguing.

well it true you hear both side, but yes ghost are real,, first ghost are spirits, some be live, it a soul that does not know it dead, are die be for, they finish they job on earth,,, so say they are helot here by a wrong, that was done to them,,,an in some cases, money, are,a thing will hold them,,,,,Now some of the ghost, could be demons, Now you may ask have i seen any, yes i have,,, but the one i saw was all good, but one,,, most will tell you no ,just be cause they never seen one,,,

Something obviously goes on because people have observed phenomena for hundreds or thousands of years, but I honestly don't know how it occurs.
I don't really believe in scary spirits, and I never saw a ghost, but I heard one once. I was standing at the grave of a cavalryman who was killed while riding to warn civilians of impending attack, and I heard a horse neigh. No horses around.
I also lived in a house with a poltergeist. We heard crashes in the night, but no damage, the garage and house doors opened by themselves, a perfumed scent suddenly emanated in the house, etc. Once it woke me up at 3 a.m. by turning on my lamp, and I said crossly, "Oh, please, give it a rest, wait till daylight." All the activity ceased after that! I guess the thrill was gone.

Yes, they are real. You have to realize though, most of them are energies that are trapped in one way or another and they are programmed to repeat things for the most part. Some of the independent ones are retarded and you have to take that into account. The main thing is to realize that you are in charge, especially in your own house. If they are going to be guests there, they better behave or out they go. I won't put up with unruly ones.

No one knows for certain if ghosts exist or not, because there has never been any conclusive evidence, so the best you will hear in answers about this question is people saying they exist and those saying they don't.
For me, I do not believe they exists, but if one day we ever find out for certain they do, then I will believe.
