Im going to be at an important event tomorrow and think thats the day im going to be starting my periods. I normally have really bad cramps on the first day and end up spending most of the day in pain or in the loo. As i will be in unfamiliar settings i wont know where the toilet is and its really important that im on my toes as apposed to suffering in pain.

So i was wondering can i do anything to maybe put them off for a day? Is this humanly possible??

thanks...i need help!

The only way I know of delaying onset of your period is if you are on the birth control pill. You can skip the 7 days of placebo and just go into a new pack right away. You will simply miss this period (although you may spot a bit during this next cycle of pills.

Other than that, arm yourself with some ibuprofen or Midol and hope for the best.

Good luck

It's humanly possible, but only if you're on birth control. You can skip your placebo week and skip your period, but without hormones, no unfortunately you cannot. This time you might have to suffer, but talk to your doctor about your options in the future.
