Help. Email lookup?

Is there a free online service(s) / serach engine that allows you to lookup an email address by entering in a name? I'm trying to contact a friend by email and I've lost it. They're on vacation right now and not in the country and no one I know has their email. Never tried this before so any help would be useful...
