I think that would be pretty scary if they have. Expecially Alanna and Kel. The Song of the lioness and the protector of the small.
What do you think?

When I got married I brought them into the marriage with me (they may be YA novels, but I still love them as a full fledged adult). My husband has read almost all of them (Protector of the Small only the first couple, but just about everything else). We both really like them!

They are
a) almost totally clean (especially compared to a lot of adult novels)
b) very action packed - I'm sure my husband likes the battle scenes far more than I do
c) fun and wonderfully creative.

Odds are my husband doesn't have the same feeling of identifying with Alanna, etc, but he can certainly identify with feeling like you have enemies that need to be conquered, something that resonates through all the series.

Ms. Pierce is an amazing author, and I think even men can appreciate that!!
