(coworker) suggested to you "let's have lunch sometimes". What would you think. I asked this question last night. I'm asking again because I could not believe some of the repsones. I think some women look way too much into things and give themselves way too much credit. I don't think it's a big deal for two people to have lunch together even if they are married but not to each other.

I think that women have standards for their men based on how they would feel it happened to them. That's the worst perspective to have in a relationship....see Lucky's answer.

I would be flattered and not take it any other way other than having lunch.
Now if he grabbed my boobies and said "let's go have 'DESSERT'!!!" then I would suspect something.

It depends on the relationship you have with this woman. If you are on the same work team, you can have lunch with a married person, no problem, but if you ask them to lunch cause you're attracted to them, not a good idea.

My guy does that all the time. Good grief the guy likes to eat and talk and I am not driving into the city everyday so he can have his Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Japanese fix of lunches ;-) If guy acts/talks like he loves his wife there is no reason for the coworker to think its anything else. Both have to be mature and not stupid!

I think it's okay if the woman knows she's not attracted to him..I mean, i'd probably take my husband into consideration, as well as my coworker's wife. But if my husband asked twice, I'd say he's married, and im not at all attracted to him. If my husband had a problem with it then i'd probably not go out with him anymore..but still be friends.

Assuming that I know this co-worker, and am friendly with him at the office, I would assume that he wants to get lunch, and wants some company, and I would accept the invitation. If it was someone that I do not know/associate with in the office, I would find it a little inappropriate.

its normal for co-workers boy or girl, married or single to have lunch together.why so bothered about the idea.if you are not comfortable having lunch with a married man then dont accept his suggestion.my husband used to have a constant lunch partner and shes also married and it lasted for a long time till the girl migrated to u.k.it doesnt bother me because they do it in the office not in the girls house.i hope you got my point.enjoy having lunch with someone than being alone..gudluk.

I would think he wants to make friends with his coworkers. I wouldn't suspect anything in the question itself. Now, if he acted funny at lunch it would be different. Until then I would just think we were business associates or friends.

Yea, it's fine. Friends have lunch together, why not be friends? I'm in control of my jealousy and insecurities and am happy when my lover has friends no matter what gender. It's healthy!
