Genetically, it's because of our biological benefactors, our parents. The combinations of their dominant and recessive genes express themselves in various eye colors. Additionally, the iris of your eye contains melanocytes, the same cells which release melanin and alter your skin color. These can actually change your eye color over time.... ever know someone with hazel eyes that changed color over 10 years?

it's nothing abnormal because you've inherited the characteristics of your parents. However ,if you find that your eyes have different colour than your parents, don't worry ,you probably inherited it from your gramps.
