It won't be hard to write a story if you remember you can make it a fantasy. Pretend you're telling a younger kid some fantastic tale, so you can talk him out of bugging his mom to play in the rain when it's a messy downpour. Get creative (what, you never lied?). Can you remember some of the news headlines about 'MUD SLIDES'?
In places like INDIA some villages are situated near hillsides and mountains that are susceptable to mudslides during heavy rainfall and country's like INDIA can have EXTREMELY heavy rainfall when they do have it- there is a monsoon season.
If you use your imagination and put yourself in a childs position that has lost contact with his or her parents because of such a disaster and how you eventually (after a very perillous adventure) reunited with your parents and how you vowed to be more concious of danger in the future.
As a child you will have a greater imagination than any adult and so will be able to write a better and more imaginative story than I could- I'd say good luck - but I know you won't need it.
Hope this inspires an 'EPIC' and not just a story.

You make up a story yourself: summary -- you have a great opportunity of making a stage appearance in school function, which you want to do very much; the previous day you go out in heavy rains and play and have fun, then catch a heavy cold and next day have fever and bad throat, then miss the opportunity much to your regret.............. good luck!
