At a walking speed of 2 mph it would take 1 hour to walk 2 miles.
1000 yards is just over half a mile.
Therefore it would take roughly about 15minutes to walk this distance.
However, we walk around 2.5mph on average so it would take a little less

An average pace is different for different people. Some people naturally walk at a faster pace, and then you have to take into account the stride of the walker. Also, if you walk for exercise your average pace would be greater than if you were walking at the mall for example. Get a pedometer.

im in a wheelchair and i havent got a clue how long itd take to walk it, as i havent walked for 23 years...
