I know its available in beauty salons but I've just noticed on ebay that you can buy lashes by the pot for home use. Does anyone on Answers apply these themselves - is it difficult or easy. I can't afford the salon prices and would like to try at home (UK based)

Please don't suggest mascara - too messy, and I only remove the same day when I can be bothered (Resulting in eyes almost being stuck together next morning)

No sorry, but if you put vaseline on your eyelashes at night and sleep with it it is supposed to make your eyelashes grow faster. HOpe I helped!!

it is possible too do them at home but it totally depends on whether you are good at it or not!
I am a trained Beauty Therapist and so know how to apply the lashes properly but find it difficult to do them for myslef.
I would recommend buying some and getting a friend to help you out. Obviously it may not work out but I would give it a try.
You just need to pour some of the glue onto a little dish/surface and then take each lash individually and pick them up using tweezers.
Dip the very end of the lash into the glue and apply to the lash line, making sure the lash is pointing upwards, not downwards!
Apply the lash above the natural lashes, not below.
Once you have applied as many lashes as you feel neccessary, (some people just like a few on the outer edge of the eye), trim them a little if they are a ridiculous length but be careful not to cut your own lashes!
Have a go and I hope it works out ok!

I have put them on myself and other people ....its fairly easy.
It just takes time...You can buy the single lashs at most beauty supply stores. The thing is to get a good adhisive.
They last about a week or more if done properly.
Good luck!

extensions are cool, and they are a bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of them they can almost pass of as real lashes! Also you can buy them from many UK leading stores like Boots and Superdrugs and they have instructions which help you.

ok honestly, my friend went as malcolm frm a clockwork orange for halloween and she had to use fake eyelashes on top and bottom to get the look
her sister works as a beautician..and so we bought the eyelashes from boots...
her sis put thm on and they didnt stick right..
so she used professional glue to get them on properly.
i wouldnt advise this if you dnt want them for long term.
if u do get them professional..make sure the beautician will provide you with acetone or a cleansing solution to get them off.
otherwise u will have nightmares and they pull ur eye lashes out if ur not careful.
try getting the single lash ones tho.. like each lash for each of ur eyelashes.
they tend to have the best effect x

I use to get them done at a beauty salon for special occasions, but decided to save my money and try one of these at home kits.... found it very fiddly and only used it once....
So I've gone back to the beauty salon to get it applied, yes more money, but they are the professionals!

You try to deceive people by your question. When Hillary became first lady of Arkansas, he held a lot of post and led a lot of works for the common good of Arkansas. As First Lady, he also did the same. He was even sent to Bosnia and Middle East to negotiate for Peace process.
