Why is it that no matter what setting your volume is at on your t.v. some commercials get louder? It really bothers me.

Years ago the FCC made advertisers keep their volume the same as the TV shows. I don't know when that changed because most commercials blast you out of the room.

I always get int trouble for the t.v being too loud and i always have to turn it down during commercials...but then when the show starts again its bareley audible. The commercials are definitley louder. It's very annoying...

I hate it alot too. But advertisers pay for their time slots i guess they want what they pay for. They want to reach their target market in the most intrusive possible ways.

It's truly awful...just when you get the perfect volume a commercial comes on and ruins it for you. Then you have to continue to play with the volume through the rest of the program! We should make a petition!

It bothers me too.I wish that we could change it so that at least the sound would stay the same as the show. They sell TVs that automatically lower the sound but why should we have to buy a special TV just to get some thing that should be corrected by the stations.
