First you have to decide whether you really wish to quit smoking habit. Then you follow certain rules.
Secondly, in the morning start jogging in fresh air. If you are having some physical problems, then start walking, which will give you fresh breathing sense.
Thirdly, start habit of chewing gum in place of smoking. whenever you think that you should smoke, drink a glass of water & start chewing gum. It will give your mouth an exercise.
Always avoid thinking about cigarettes. Start habit of reading, playing some games, like chess, carrom or team games like football, basketball.
Have more & more intake of water whenever you think about smoking.
You keep yourself busy in some practical work or study work.
You will get required results.

hi,
first step is Be busy n occupy with other activities

second step is whenever u light up a cigar remember that a single cigarette is more harmful than even puffing marijuana
third step is take it easy. don't regret if u smoke occasionally. but try not to repeat it
fourth step is just keep a small pencil exactly the size of cigar and feel as if u are smoking
last step is use nicotine patches if u can afford it
N ALWAYS REMEMBER A PERSON WHO CAN START SMOKING CAN QUIT SMOKING

aside from willpower --- develop a bad dose of the flu or a cold --- and ask yourself --- can you take the "pain" --- and after that lousy feeling --- turn round and chuck the fags in the bin ( because they made you so crook ; because you were crook in the first place -- remember ! ) and never ever look back --- you will save so much money and feel so much healthier ( especially when you realise you can walk so much further without being out of puff ) and the world will appear so good --- oh ! and by the way -- the cough will last a little whiles --- but when it's gone --- it's gone forever !!! and your clothes and you will smell so much better --- you'll actually be able to "smell " things again ! good luck

u must use varenicline:Varenicline is the first non-nicotine containing medication specifically designed for smoking cessation approved by the US FDA (May 2006) and the European Medicines Evaluation Agency (EMEA) (September 2006). Bupropion is the other non-nicotine stop smoking medication (its effects on smoking were discovered accidentally as it was at the time an anti-depressant). consult ur doctor first.

My suggestion is dnt quit smoking immed... If u quit suddenly, it may affect ur health in any way..

Consider if u smoke 5 per day, then try to smoke 4 per day for 1 month..
Then try to smoke 3 per day for 1 month.
like dis, reduce the no. of cig per month
atlast, u quit smoking..

Duration of reducing the no depends upon u..... but do it regularly.. It wont affect u in anyway.....I think so...

My advance wishes to u to quit smoking as soon..

Will power. Its in the mind. otherwise it is an addiction, which is there to kill you.

Try keeping clove in the mouth every time you have a craving for a cigarette., pop in a clove. Its pungent and harmless.

or Paan masala, which is another addiction. but maybe one can quit smoking.
