It depends on your gaming preferences. A console is only as good as the games for it.
However my personal pros and cons for each console:
Wii:
Pro:
Most fun I ever had with a console. The controls are awesome.
Perfect Party machine. Get Wario Ware Smooth Moves and a room full of friends. You will have the fun of your lifes.
Full Internet Browser from Opera.
WiiConnect 24 will use your Internet Connection to swap Miis with friends and other cool stuff that will surprise you.
Con:
Graphics are inferior to PS3 and Xbox. However the fun in the games makes it up for it.
Xbox 360:
Pro:
Cheaper than PS3. Great Graphics and Sound. Great variety of games. Many games for PS3 are now for Xbox, as the sales for PS3 are not that good, and publishers make games for consoles that sell well.
Online Play with Live is the best online experience I had.
Free demos, and other stuff from the Live Marketplace. Try a game before you buy.
Has a HDDVD accessory. Should Blue Ray succeed and HD DVD lose, you could buy a Blue Ray accessory drive later.
Cons:
Live subscription costs about $4 a month if you buy a 12 Month Live card.
PS3:
Pro: Onlineservice supposed to be free.
Cons:
Costs an arm and a leg.
Has few exclusive titles at the moment.
Graphics as good as XBox 360.
If the customers buy HD DVDs instead of Blue Ray, you will have an expensive gaming console to put next to your Betamax VCR.

Speaking from a technical point of view, the PS3 is the better console out of the three for the simple reason that its discs can hold way more data than those of the other two consoles. A PS3 also possesses better hardware, meaning that when developers learn how to unleash its full power, games on the PS3 will be most likely better than its Wii and Xbox 360 counterparts. However, it does not have a wide selection of games, but it is backwards compatible with the PSOne and PS2. But, if you want to play great games NOW, I think that the Xbox 360 is more worth it. It has a wider selection of games and, at present time, has more exclusives.

PS3 is blowing every thing out of the water
it has a blue ray player which usually costs 1000 but its on the ps3 for 600 it has the best graphics and a little bit of moving the controller and it happens on the television the wii has crappy graphicsb and it makes every one get hurt on the day ps3 came out people were shooting eachother for it on the day of the wii it was like a kiidy show go in and come out the wii has really bad games the best is probably call duty 3 or red steel the rest suck and for the x box 360 it it is 2 better than wii but not than ps3 so you should buy ps3 because it has the best graphics and the best online gamin

the xbox 360 is the best. the PS3 is not really good on the gaming side of things. it just has blu ray that's why everybody wants one. the xbox 360 has the best graphics, better games, and i like the controller better. the wii is not really that cool anymore. i mean i believe that it would be cool to play it just for a night or something. hey but some people like the kind of style on the wii. this is just my opinion.

ps3 is the best
1. it looks cooler (the 360 looks dirty all the time because its white)
2. it has free online services
3. if you saw watch dog last night you'll see that all the xbox360s are breaking down
3. Nintendo spent so much time on the controller they didn't realise the wii was crap
4. it has superhero recommendation (spider-man font)
5. Sony actually came up with the motion sensing controller Nintendo just stole it
6. it has a 60GB hard drive oppose to the 20GB of the 360 and the 0GB of the wii
7. the ps3 has the best graphics of them all
8. blu-ray will eventually win the format battle
9. blu-ray has a better name than the boring hd-dvd
so if you really think about it the ps3 is the only option.
PS3 RULES!! PS3 RULES!! PS3 RULES!! PS3 RULES!!

Xbox 360
Good value for money
Over 100 titles available
Can upgrade the basic system with add-ons
Xbox Live is near perfect, loads of additional downloads.
Tried and tested technology, Blue Ray is going to cause a lot of people headache.
Microsoft Customer Service is great.

Wii is a crappy little kids toy, with no hard drive, and out dated memory cards, they don't care about us, becasue they're to bust making sure to appeal to Japan, Sony's ps3 is overpriced, boating a blue ray player, it's well known sony has allways made cheap products, so the blue ray player isn't great, niether are the games, especially for the price. Xbox 360 is the best imo despite the overheating problems and the false "backward compatibility" claims, they're working these things out, the price is reasonable, and it can do everything the blue ray can.

the xbox360 because the ps3 has nothing good out,it cost too much and the so called better than 360 graphics isn't better than the 360,and the wii have bad graphics and will never have good graphics, and they limit the amount of violence in their games, like they are doing you a favor.

The WII is great fun, but gets a bit boring after a while. I don't rate the games very highly on Xbox, although it does have Viva Pinata - which PS2/3 doesn't. I still love my original PS1 though, all chunky, clunky and fun!
